1. Sound issue: lots of sounds are skipped - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
It's definitely to do with distances. My guns can only be heard in a really narrow window. If I zoom in too much, all I get is humming, if I zoom out too much I get nothing.

I'm also getting a popping/clicking noise whenever I blow something up. Sounds like the audio for the explosions is corrupt or something.

6. Does inactive accounts get deleted? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It makes financial sense for CCP to not delete accounts. One of the main reasons I reactivated my account after ~9 months off was that I had a high skill-pointed character here to play with. If CCP had deleted it, I wouldn't have bothered.

I quit for 9 months - then a few guys at work started out in Eve, and I thought "ooh, I wonder if my account is still there". It was, and after reactivating my subscription, I found that they'd fixed all the things that made me leave :)

Hi guys, As I mentioned in my original post, I petitioned this. A GM emailed me back in less than 24 hours (nice one!) and suggested clearing out my cache folder. This fixed the problem, and also gave me a bit of a fps increase.

Yep, I'm having this problem all the time now. Cap on my apoc goes down to 3/4 full, then my modules all start shutting down due to no power. The game mechanics all seem to be working correctly, just the display on my screen is reporting rubbish. ...
